Job Title: Maintenance Painter (Permanent Position)

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Painter to join a dynamic team based in Yorkshire. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £34,000 per year, with the added benefit of a van provided for commuting. While no overtime is available, this role offers a consistent 40-hour work week with a focus on high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out painting and decorating tasks on residential and commercial properties.
* Prepare surfaces, apply paint, and finish work to a high standard.
* Maintain tools and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
* Manage a variety of maintenance projects including internal and external work.
* Work effectively with the maintenance team to ensure deadlines and service standards are met.
* Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
* Maintain clear communication with management and clients, providing updates on project progress.
* Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability practices when disposing of materials.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in painting and decorating within a maintenance or facilities management role.
* A professional qualification in Painting and Decorating (e.g., City & Guilds or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
* A valid driving licence (for the use of company van) and a good driving record.
* Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
* Previous experience in a similar role within the housing or property sector is advantageous.
* Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with colleagues and clients.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the workplace.
