Salary: £41,997 - £45,079
What you'll be doing:
* Inspiring a culture of excellence and inspiring high performance amongst learners, role modelling a culture of proud professionals
* Delivering Fabrication trade training lessons in a safe, inspiring and impactful manner to ensure positive learning outcomes for all
* Day to day running of workshop learning/training covering all aspects of fabrication
* Being part of a team of professionals, and help to develop the Steelworker/Fabrication training curriculum and associated lessons in line with training/business requirements
* Providing effective safeguarding, welfare and support arrangements for apprentices and other learners
* Maintaining Academy Diamond Standards in all activities
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* A Time served as a Fabricator/Steelworker
* Effective coaching skills and/or working with apprentices
* Highly skilled individual, with an eye for detail and a quality of finish, used to working to tight tolerances
* Strong leadership skills, leads by example in all aspects of workshop training
* Passionate about training and development with a good knowledge of factors affecting delivery
Desirable:
* Training & Development qualifications at L3 or above or prepared to work toward

The Fabrication Area team:
The position will be working alongside a very highly skilled team of individuals to achieve learning excellence with apprentices and trades people alike. It will also include working and training to future standards, using new technologies that include VR & AR, and helping to establish a new training area to facilitate future business needs.
