We are seeking a qualified individual with hands-on experience in developing robust security risk management systems for intricate high integrity electronic systems. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in adhering to customer, regulatory, and legislative expectations, with familiarity in relevant legislation such as IPA, DPA, and the Official Secrets Act. Certification as a Registered NCSC Certified Professional at lead level or equivalent qualification is required, along with knowledge of UK/NATO Information Assurance standards, procedures, and systems.
Requirements:
* Familiarity with the principles of incident investigation and how to implement an investigation process;
* Practical experience of NCSC and Common Criteria security evaluation techniques and requirements up to High Grade.
* Knowledge of current Crypto technologies, Key Management Systems & practical COMSEC implementations.
* Experience delivering training courses/presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify future product security needs.
* Awareness of Product Security implications relating to safety.
* Ability to communicate effectively with subject matter experts on technical and operational matters.
* A strong background in design implementation of high integrity complex electronics.
* Good understanding and experience in delivery and maintenance of products to meet regulatory requirements, for e.g. MAA DAOS, ARP4754.
* Understanding of the concept of operations for products, in order to understand the functional security risks and define/agree the appropriate mitigations.
* Ability to identify and deliver alternate/innovative ways to manage security.
* Understanding of the role of advisory boards within the UK Government or NATO for security.
* Ability to obtain DV clearance.
