We are Prism eLogistics (UK) Ltd, a business based in Basingstoke Hampshire, providing automated contract sleeving, 3PL and e-fulfilment distribution services. About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, motivated Production Line Leader to work on our sleeving side, reporting directly to the Production Team Leader of sleeving. This is a hands-on role that assists in the daily running of the operation to achieve timely processing and dispatch of production goods.
Responsibilities:
* Follow production instructions to assemble products or components according to client specifications.
* Supervise staff, monitoring quality and productivity for the assignments.
* Inspect parts and components before and after assembly to ensure they meet quality standards.
* Operate production equipment to manufacture goods according to specifications.
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
* Remove defective or faulty products and ensure they are properly addressed.
* Pack completed products for shipping, ensuring they are correctly labelled and handled.
* Report safety hazards or malfunctions to Supervisors.
* Work in collaboration with other team members and departments to meet production targets.
* Communicate effectively with Supervisors or other departments if issues arise during the assembly process.
* Fully report any stock losses, damages to product or equipment, and concerns to the Sleeving Production Manager or Supervisor.
* Label and prepare items for shipping according to organizational and shipping standards.
* Provide training and coaching of staff when instructed by their line manager.
* Maintain high levels of professionalism in all communications with colleagues, clients, and site visitors.
* Prioritise tasks effectively to ensure service levels are met daily.
* Ensure high standards of housekeeping in the warehouse to ensure tidiness, safety, and productivity.
* Ensure all health and safety measures are adhered to by all employees.
* Maintain an organised workspace and store finished products properly to avoid damage.
* Ensure the production area remains clean and organised to comply with safety regulations.
* Keep stock safely stored in accessible locations.
* Communicate all updates and progress to line manager to facilitate collaboration and effective planning.
* Conduct any other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse and production operation.

* Forklift Truck licence - Aisle Master and Counterbalance.
