Key Responsibilities Be a referral point and technical expert and across multiple lines of business, across countries, for new, renewal, endorsements and reinsurance processing for multiple entities in CNA. (CICL, CICE and CHISL) Responsible for account managing allocated VIP Home Foreign accounts to ensure they are serviced within SLA and receive a priority service. Be the main contact point for the US and Canadian counterparts to manage through any corrections, technical questions or process difficulties. Processes complex new and renewal business including data entry into system, producing accurate policy documents in multiple languages and lines of business within the different regulatory and compliance requirements for that country within agreed SLAs and quality standards Actively participate and support Reverse Flow (Home Foreign) Underwriters in new business, renewal and mid-term alteration underwriting activities that support underwriting decisions, consistent with business growth and profit. Maintain accurate documentation/ information in account management systems and adhere to documentation standards Professionally responds to external queries from Brokers and works within escalation procedures where required and where required attend Broker meetings or be the central contact for key accounts. Manage the Financial Lines Home Foreign accounts and be the central point of contact for the US Underwriters and Brokers. Collect and accurately record required compliance and regulatory information as determined for each line of business and country as instructed in the ComPass Fronting Facility Guide and also by International Solutions operational standards. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues in other parts of the organisation, including Head Office, Risk Control, Distribution, Claims, Actuarial, etc. as needed. Monitor and ensure that all policies are correctly issued and processed as per instructed in Compass and within their Underwriting Authority and following required escalation process. Proactively analyses and raise queries for Underlyer Requests where information provided is not in line with the country requirements for local policy / certificate issuance. Proactively deals with enquiries from Underwriting, Billing & Collections, Re-Insurance, Claims. Maintains and processes all underwriting records accurately and efficiently including premium, return premium and reinsurance transactions. Comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and ensure, at a level appropriate to the position that appropriate measures are in place to ensure this compliance. Proactively manage month end bookings and reinsurance processes. Where applicable ensure accurate recording, monitoring and reporting of premiums. Ensuring that all Tax allocations are accurately processed including the accurate use of tax rates and calculation of tax splits where this is not provided. Identifying and reporting problems with the system integration reporting Work within the Peer Review procedures as determined by their manager. Continue to develop underwriting and multinational expertise and be a source of technical expertise in the team including training new team members. May perform other duties as required.
