This role reports into the Resourcing Manager as part of the Operations Team supporting the Advice Policy and Operations Division. The main purpose of the role is to manage operational efficiency and to support resource planning, telephony systems and operational MI work across Advice Policy and Operations, embedding processes, procedures and controls, from design through to execution. They will work closely with the Operational Efficiency Manager and the Governance and Risk Manager.
What you'll be doing:
* Own and manage APO operational efficiency Initiatives, providing technical SME expertise, liaising with wider APO teams to pull in a higher level of expertise where required
* To initiate, lead and use technical SME expertise and understanding of Personal Independence regulations to support with the management of relationships with key audit firms (Deloitte, PWC, EY, KPMG etc) and lead on the introduction and development of key initiatives to enhance the proposition
* Creation and ownership of APO operational efficiency dashboard
* Provide technical SME expertise on Group projects including systems, technology and digital change projects that impact Advice Policy and Operations
* Mezzanine Product Owner, providing support on Mezzanine App platform across the wider business, onboarding additional teams and resolving queries through creating new and maintaining the automation logic
* Support the Operational Efficiency and Forecasting Manager as and when required.
Who we're looking for:
An enthusiastic and engaging consultant responsible for managing operational efficiency and supporting resource planning, telephony systems and operational MI work across Advice Policy and Operations, embedding processes, procedures and controls, from design through to execution
Essential Criteria
* Understanding of available tools, technology and potential automation options.
* Knowledge of Forecasting and resource management principles
* Good project management knowledge
* Knowledge of the wider SJP Group systems and technology in order to leverage off these where needed, keeping up to date with group wide operational efficiency Initiatives
Desirable Criteria
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise clearly are essential to meet the demands of a wide-ranging workload and often challenging and conflicting deadlines
* Comfortable with engaging in multiple operational efficiency Initiatives simultaneously
