As a Proposition Consultant at Aegon, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the management and optimization of our adviser marketing propositions, meeting strategic objectives. You will be responsible for demonstrating skills in innovation, ideation, concept design, and development, while managing multiple projects within challenging timescales. Your role will involve ensuring regulatory obligations are met and optimizing customer, employer, and adviser propositions to align with Aegon's mission of helping customers live their best lives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide broad propositional support to the Proposition function, wider Marketing team, and other colleagues, including facilitating workshops, owning detailed proposition specifications/plans, and answering detailed propositional questions. Use desk research and consultancy skills to support the design and development of ways to optimize propositions that achieve commercial targets. Support product reviews for all propositions, adhering to agreed processes and timetables approved by the Customer Committee. Prepare clear and powerful documents and presentations for internal and external messaging. Maintain regular contact with key external contacts and suppliers to help build knowledge and accurate positioning of our propositions (including Independent Product Databases) Sharing of knowledge and best practices. Support onboarding activity – eg back office systems adopting data feeds, eSignature providers We’d love to hear from you if you have: Attention to detail and the confidence to constructively challenge requirements and creative proposals. Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to stay focused on objectives under pressure. Ability to evaluate complex problems and use judgment to recommend and deliver innovative and creative solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of the financial services sector, including customer demands and dynamics, and the regulatory framework in UK financial services. Understanding of platform markets and products, digital communication, and delivery mechanisms. Experience within a similar propositions/adviser role, with a proven record of delivery What’s in it for you?
