About the role:
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dispensary Lead Pharmacist to join our team in Whitehaven. This is a full-time position with an ongoing duration. The ideal candidate will have hospital dispensary experience, but we also welcome community pharmacists who are eager to transition into hospital pharmacy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the dispensary team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
2. Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications.
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
4. Provide expert advice and support to healthcare professionals and patients.
5. Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives within the dispensary.
Qualifications and Experience:
6. Essential: Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.Experience in a hospital dispensary setting is preferable.Knowledge of Relevant Regulations and Standards
7. Desirable: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to Implement and Monitor Quality Improvement InitiativesStrong Attention to Detail and Commitment to Patient CareExcellent Communication and Leadership Skills.Flexibility and Adaptability
