IT Service Management Analyst / Service Manager
IR35: In Scope
Location: 1 or 2 days per week onsite, local office
Duration: 5 months
Our very large public sector client seeks a generalist Service Management / Service Manager profile to assist with Operational Resilience, Service Continuity Management (SCM), Integration with ITIL and Incident Response. This role involves looking at the 'discovery' of services and the population of data and strategy from the recommendations of a recent audit.
Key responsibilities include:
* Analyzing the impact of a high priority service disruption and the resulting triage, while reviewing the CMDB.
* Recommending actions based on audit findings.
* Ensuring accurate service data access and mapping of services.
* Establishing a mechanism for storing service data.
* Building out problem management processes.
* Building out major incident management processes.
Ensuring data accuracy for transfer to service management, IT operations management, and customer service management.
Nice to have:
* Experience with delivering Major Incident Management communications playbooks.
* CSDM (Common Service Data Model) mapping of services.
* Experience with CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
* Knowledge of SMOM.
* Experience with ITSCM (IT Service Continuity Management).
