Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting a manufacturing business based in Newcastle Upon Tyne with the appointment of HR Assistant on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract basis. You will provide advisory and administrative services for the business and you will be responsible for dealing with HR queries, updating personnel records both paper and electronic and carrying out general HR administration. Key Responsibilities: Providing advice and guidance on recruitment, rewards and benefits, HR system queries and other HR policies and procedures. Provide support for recruitment campaigns, liaising with recruiting managers and recruitment agencies, maintaining recruitment logs and talent pools, supporting managers through interviews and ensuring all onboarding paperwork is complete. Processing starters, job changes and leavers in the HR system and dealing with associated paperwork. Maintain personnel records in the HR system and network files. Support the HR Advisor in maintaining training and development records. Providing management information as required by running monthly reports and HR metrics from the HR system as directed Log absences and manage ongoing absence management issues Support in HR projects as required We are looking to speak with candidates with HR administration/assistant experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You must have excellent organisational skills and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
