Job Title: Transport Admin
Location: Daventry
Salary: £25,000 Per annum
Contract: 12 month contract - Maternity cover
Shifts: Monday - Friday - 7-5
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing collections for off-site customers, including arranging new collections.
Maintain accurate records of costs, schedules, and other relevant information in internal logs
Proactively find solutions to customer queries and transportation issues, ensuring timely resolution
Handle incoming inquiries from customers via email and phone, aiding and resolving transport-related issues promptly
Collaborate closely with couriers to ensure successful collections and address any delays or failures
Support the transport planner during peak periods by coordinating with operations and sales teams to optimize collection processes
Perform various administrative tasks to support transportation operations effectively.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Proficiency in administrative tasks such as data entry, email management, and record-keeping.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers.
Ability to manage collections, schedule changes, and resolve issues with couriers.
Knowledge of transportation logistics and the ability to provide quotes for collection costs
Proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and customer satisfaction.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
