We are currently working with qualified Speech & Language Therapy Assistants to help them find new and exciting opportunities with the Trusts here in Northern Ireland. As such, we are now recruiting on behalf of the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust for Speech & Language Therapy Assistants for the Adult Acute Services!
The Speech and Language Therapy Assistant is employed to assist the Speech and Language Therapists in the management of children and adults with communication and swallowing difficulties. This post will be for temporary duration until end of March 2025 and both full and part time hours will be considered. Salary starting from £13.08 for the first 12 weeks and increasing to £13.60 thereafter.
Requirements
- 4 GCSE's or equivalent, at Grades A-C including English Language or equivalent Or relevant *NVQ level 2 & one year paid experience working with children or adults in a therapeutic/care giving setting (*relevant qualifications must be in Health & Social Care or Education)
- Alternatively, two years paid experience working with children or adults in a therapeutic/care giving setting or *NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or higher relevant qualification (*relevant qualifications must be in Health & Social Care or Education)
- Keen interest in working with children or adults with communication difficulties
- Full UK Drivers License
- Right to Work in the UK
