PAY RATE:
£14.50 per hour
HOURS:
Mon-Fri 50-55hrs per week with start time from 0800 and finish time by 2130
THE ROLE:
A great opportunity has arisen within Amulet for a Corporate Front of House Security Officer in Manchester. We are seeking an experienced, presentable, and articulate Security officer who is able to deliver excellent customer service to both the client and the customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage entry points, verify identification, and enforce on-site rules and regulations.
* Conduct foot patrols, monitor CCTV, and secure access points.
* Address and de-escalate incidents, complete reports, and liaise with emergency services.
* Assist visitors and support student welfare.
* Aid in evacuations, medical emergencies, and emergency service coordination.
* Assist with locking/unlocking buildings, reporting maintenance issues, and supporting event security.
* Adherence to legislation and GDPR compliance.
* Maintain professionalism.
SKILLS:
* Knowledge of security protocols, access control systems, and emergency response procedures.
* Capability of problem-solving and dealing with a variety of situations with a customer service focus.
* Evidence of strong time management skills.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Vigilant with a “can do” approach to all tasks.
* Computer literate, with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications.
LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* Possession of a valid SIA Licence.
* First Aid qualification is desirable.
INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:
* Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate;
* Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months;
* Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits, or HMRC letter.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability to provide a checkable 5-year employment and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).
