The NHS Executive is looking to recruit an inspiring and influential Assistant Director of Governance to work with our team on all core governance duties and play a key role in the achievement of the organisation’s strategic objectives, and mission to make a difference every day to the health and wellbeing of our communities.
Reporting to the National Director of Planning, the post holder will provide a broad range of specialist advice and will be responsible for ensuring the business is conducted with probity, accountability and in accordance with appropriate standards and regulations.
The role will be essential in supporting the Senior Leadership Team and Responsible Officer and work closely with the Host Organisation (PHW) and in partnership with all NHS Wales Executive Directorates to champion and embed a culture of high-quality governance planning and management.
You must be a highly influential team player with strong leadership skills to direct your team to success, but also able to work autonomously, whilst providing an outstanding service to the Networks and Planning Directorate and its hosted organisation. You will be a point of contact for corporate governance and legal queries and regulatory bodies and provide meticulous support, and attention to detail to ensure the smooth and effective conduct of the cycle of business.
