Simon Acres Group is proud to be partnered with one of the leading UK independent builders' merchants and are looking for a full time External Sales Representative to join their team in Burton upon Trent.
This is a full time, permanent role, paying up to £35,000 + bonus.
Please note, it will include working alternate Saturday mornings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Playing an instrumental role in growth and development of the branch.
2. Working as part of the team.
3. Identifying new business opportunities.
4. Promoting brand as a supplier of choice and converting deals into regular business.
5. Maintaining relationships with existing customers and ensuring they continue to receive excellent customer service.
6. Taking a proactive approach to visiting existing and potential customers in and around the Stafford area and building lasting relationships.
7. Using every opportunity to maximise sales.
Ideal Applicant:
1. Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
2. Sales Track Record: Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
3. Product Expertise: Excellent product knowledge of a range of building products.
4. Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate and close deals while maintaining mutually beneficial relationships.
5. CRM Proficiency: To manage leads, follow-ups, and client interactions.
6. Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and travel schedules effectively.
7. Presentation Skills: Confident in presenting product solutions, often tailoring the pitch to meet the specific needs of clients.
8. Adaptability: Quick to adapt to new market trends, products, or client demands.
9. Personable: Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour to build rapport with clients.
10. Full Driver's License: Essential for this role.
