Science Teacher Opportunity
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a fully comprehensive school in Bradford-on-Avon, rated ‘Good’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection. The school values individuals who embody their ethos and can bring lessons to life, inspiring students to achieve their best.
If you are a qualified or newly qualified teacher with a specialism in science and a desire to make a real difference in the lives of secondary-aged students, we would love to hear from you! The school is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, with the role due to begin in February 2025 and will continue until April 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning: Prepare engaging lessons aligned with the KS3/KS4 Science curriculum objectives.
Teaching: Deliver dynamic and interactive lessons that capture students' interest.
Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment, effectively managing behaviour and collaborating with parents and staff as needed.
Assessment: Mark and evaluate student work to provide constructive feedback.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 students, including GCSE.
Confidence in using a range of behaviour management strategies effectively.
A genuine passion for teaching and its impact on student learning and progress.
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
