We are looking for Senior Infrastructure Administrator who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service.”
As the Senior Infrastructure Administrator your key responsibilities are:
* Aid the design, implementation, and management of robust ICT back-end infrastructure, ensuring it is highly secure and adaptable and links all our business entities.
* Monitor and assess server and infrastructure life cycles, ensuring timely maintenance and upgrades to uphold system efficiency.
* Work with the team to design, implement, and perform regular testing of Disaster Recovery plans, ensuring robust system backup and replication procedures for all systems.
* Manage and maintain group-wide firewalls, antivirus systems, SIEM platforms, and Network Access Control systems, in conjunction with the Information Security Team.
* Plan and prepare for BUUK Group expansions and changes, ensuring scalable and adaptable infrastructure aligned with established processes.
* Occasional out of hours work required.
About you:
* Expert knowledge of Active Directory and the Microsoft Server product family within an enterprise environment.
* Proven experience of the Microsoft Cloud platform:
o Entra ID
o Azure (virtualisation, networking, firewalls).
* In-depth knowledge of virtualisation platforms:
o Hyper-V
o VMware.
* Knowledge of network hardware configuration and management, including routers, firewalls, TCP/IP.
* Knowledge of disaster recovery backup and replication systems.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to contribute ideas and onboard ideas from others.
* Effective visualisation and articulation of problems and solutions, whilst taking a proactive and independent approach.
