What skills and experience we're looking for
“Because children only get one chance to benefit from a great education.”
This is our ‘why’ at Lion Academy Trust - it is our reason for doing everything that we do.
Do you want to work in a school that OFSTED 2023 says this about:
Staff are very proud to work at Warwick Academy. They recognise that the school has improved considerably since it was taken over by Lion Academy Trust.
Classrooms are calm, purposeful places where pupils can focus on their learning.
Staff adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). These changes ensure that pupils with SEND learn the full curriculum.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for experienced teachers or those at the early stages of their teaching journey. We welcome teachers to join our fantastic school who are committed to be as effective as they can be for our children. We will only recruit staff that can engage and inspire both pupils and colleagues. Successful candidates will be resilient, hardworking and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that our provision is 'Good or better, everyday'.
We pride ourselves on being a caring and supportive employer with dedicated career development pathways.
We are forward-thinking, caring and, most important of all, a happy school where pupils of all abilities and social backgrounds achieve. Our children are at the heart of everything we do and all the decisions we make. Our children are well-behaved and always aspire to be “the best versions of themselves”.
We became a member of the Lion Academy Trust in September 2018 and are well on our journey to making Warwick Academy an outstanding school. We have a fully resourced school and an embedded Trust pedagogy. This includes a developed programme of investment in the IT infrastructure and environment of the school both internally and externally.
