Job Description
To help inform, align, and engage employees working on Market Unit
To use communications to help engage and retain talent on the Market Unit
To develop and maintain effective stakeholder engagement
To support change and bring the vision Market Unit strategy to life
To support the delivery of professional communications that engages with maximum impact
Provide ‘communications consultancy’ for stakeholders to achieve stakeholder/wider business objectives
Deliver high quality campaign support and copy writing for Market Unit within agreed timescales
Demonstrate flexibility in the need to respond to urgent communication and media-related requests
Seek industry best practice and emerging trends within communications, share with the Internal Communications Team and see what we can apply
Understand the IC impact/action required in the event of issues/crisis
Constantly seek to improve personal professional communication skills
Communications solutions for that inform, motivate and engage employees with business related priorities, change, direction and success.
Delivery of messages with impact through innovative use of technology, concise writing and imaginative campaign design.
Integrated internal communication campaigns.
Communications consultancy and sharing of best practice.
Adherence to corporate standards, Market Unit governance and adoption of industry best practice.
Effective corporate journalism in the creation of news articles, intranet updates and employee emails
Support for events (e.g. Kick On / Kick Off, town halls)
Proactive communication approach, strategy and plans for internal campaigns
Successful measurement and evaluation/interpretation of communications activity – including recommendations for improvements where necessary
Support the Head of Internal Communications to achieve team objectives in line with strategy
To deliver communications that will add maximum business value to the Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder management
Copy writing
Proof reading
Communication and campaign planning
Measurement and evaluation
Communicating clear briefs to design team
Internal reporting (provide updates; attend stand-ups; team meetings; create communications plans)
Channels (including intranet, news, road shows; digital signage and social media such as DAILY. Connect, discussion forums and blogs)
Support cultural change and communicate HR related issues to internal audiences
Manage stakeholder relationships in a professional manner
Contribute to continuous improvement within the Communications Team
Head of Internal Communications of concerns, risks, and issues
Supporting Market Unit direction and strategic objectives
Support the Head of Internal Communications to achieve team objectives in line with strategy
individual MUST be able to work independently on campaigns and events and have experience of working with senior leaders and stakeholders please.
