Job summary An amazing and rare opportunity has arrived for a full time Band 6 Community Link Nurse in the NN2 Community Nursing team We are looking for an experienced registered nurse to join our dedicated and highly professional team of nurses working in the North Walsham, Cromer and Mundesley areas covering the service seven days a week. This role will offer the opportunity for both clinical and leadership development, whilst working in a caring, friendly and supportive team. Main duties of the job You will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of complex patients with a wide variety of health needs of acute or chronic presentation, visiting them within their own homes, care homes, the travelling community and in clinics. We are looking for a nurse who is committed to delivering high standards of care. You will supervise and appraise Band 5 Community Nurses and non-registered members of the nursing team, and work closely with the therapy staff to assist the patient to achieve maximal function and independence. In addition, you will support the Clinical Lead Nurse with managerial responsibilities. You will need effective communication skills and must be prepared to work flexibly and collaboratively to meet the needs of the service. It is essential to have evidence of professional competencies and have the ability to apply your knowledge and skills to clinical practice. A sound understanding and knowledge of the current drive to transform community services is an essential requirement.
