Support Worker – Short Break Residential Unit (Oxford)
Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with disabilities? We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team at a local Oxford-based residential unit, providing short break care for children and young people with significant physical and learning disabilities.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in caring for children and young people with a range of needs, including complex physical health conditions and autism spectrum conditions. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing day-to-day personal care and support in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Engaging children in sensory activities, arts and crafts, and community outings to enhance their experiences.
• Supporting families as a whole by liaising with schools, healthcare teams, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
