We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance Team, driving financial excellence and contributing to the centre's strategic vision.
As Finance Business Partner at INTO Manchester, you will play a key role in overseeing all financial matters. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Finance, and working closely with the INTO Manchester Centre Director, you will prepare and maintain financial budgets, manage monthly accounts, and provide critical financial insights to support decision-making at the highest levels.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and experience as a Finance Business Partner across a broad range of activities, as well as being part of a team that works hard to make sure everyone feels a valued part of our UK Commercial Finance Team.
Key Responsibilities
* Monthly Management Accounts: Prepare, analyse, and report on monthly management accounts, including cash flow analysis.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and performance reporting, identifying risks and opportunities while planning responses to variances.
* Strategic Financial Planning: Contribute to strategic development, maintaining the three-year financial plan for the centre.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
* Team Leadership: Manage and develop INTO Manchester’s finance colleagues, ensuring high levels of service to students and stakeholders.
* Process Improvement & Cost Efficiency: Collaborate with the UK Commercial Finance team to continuously improve financial systems, processes, and controls.
* Cash Flow & Debt Management: Promote working capital improvements by minimising student debt and maximising cost control. Oversee weekly cash flow reports.
* Support Centre Management: Provide financial support to centre managers and maintain the risk register for effective risk management.
* Internal Controls & Compliance: Establish and monitor internal controls to protect the centre’s assets.
