What You'll Be Doing
As the Engineering Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing multiple engineering projects from conception to completion. Key responsibilities will include:
* Leading the design, planning, and execution of capital and process improvement projects.
* Managing cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and industry regulations.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive successful project outcomes.
* Tracking and reporting project progress, addressing challenges proactively, and driving continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:
* A strong background in engineering, with a degree in a relevant field (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar).
* Proven experience in project management within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
* Demonstrable experience in delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
