We have an opportunity in our Support Centre in Belper for a Part Time HR Administrator to join the team reporting to our Head of People Services. The vacancy is for 18 hours per week - working hours to be discussed at interview stage. Key Responsibilities Maintaining accurate employee data on the HR system (People HR) and HR files • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post • Monthly stationery ordering for the support centre team • Responding to all HR Enquiries via email, telephone, or face to face. Referring any queries to the Head of People Services or People & Culture Business Partners as required when needed • Administration of employee birthday cards and length of service certificates • New starters to be taken through the starters process checklist • Leavers process checklist completed, including organising exit interviews, ensuring leavers are processed on various systems • Processing on employee checks such as (DBS, Health Declarations, Driver checks and ad hoc checks as required) • Processing variations to terms and conditions of employment issuing change letters and updated contracts as required • Processing of sickness absence and parental leave documentation inclusive of notifying relevant departments • Process occupational health checks for employees as required • Conducting HR file audits, ensuring any missing documentation is collected and placed on file • Supporting the administration of monthly payroll • Complete reference checks • Issue ID Badges • Administrative tasks relating to employee probationary periods • Administration of employee benefits Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Proven administration experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • High levels of attention to detail • High levels of Organisational skills • Good team player and enthusiastic • Demonstrates a positive attitude in challenging times. • High levels of integrity • Ability to multitask and work in a busy environment. • Eager to learn and support in driving positive change.
