Hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible, hybrid working.
Holiday – 23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing by one day for each year of service (up to a maximum of 28 days).
About the Client Relationship Manager role

Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Client Relationship Manager in either our Spalding/Boston TC Bulley Davey office.
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will manage a portfolio of mixed clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. You will review and report on account performance, undertake regular client visits, promote positive client engagement, ensure exceptional service delivery is upheld at all times, and identify growth opportunities from within your portfolio.
The role will also involve practice and workflow management for the whole team, as well as strategic planning with the client. You will organize and provide on-the-job coaching, identify training and development needs, and ensure these are facilitated. You will have an active involvement in the development of our approach and create and monitor an “improvement-focused” mentality across the whole team.
Key responsibilities of a Client Relationship Manager will include:
* Managing client relationships and ensuring we deliver exceptional client service, which will include regular touchpoints with your clients, both online and in-person.
* Exploring development opportunities with existing relationships to increase portfolio sizes and add to Business Development for the whole service line.
* Managing finances of the portfolio, including driving monthly billing targets, monitoring and improving recoveries, debt recovery, and forecasting.
* Reviewing VAT returns, personal tax returns, partnership returns, limited company, and sole trader accounts.
* Assisting in the management of the office and developing junior members of staff while proactively looking to develop a culture of continuous improvement and best practice.
* Identifying training and development needs and ensuring these are facilitated.
* Escalating development issues and progression requirements to the senior management team.
About you
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
* A minimum of 5 years’ demonstrable experience within an accountancy practice background.
* Proficiency in MS Office / highly PC literate, along with sound accounting system knowledge. Iris software experience would be beneficial.
* A methodical approach to handling workload for both self and others.
* Extremely organized and flexible, with a positive, solutions-based perspective.
* Personable with excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and able to develop strong client & team relationships.
* Open to developing team methods and skills.
* Flexible and able to travel to other regional offices.
