Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust
We are looking to appoint a Consultant in Acute Emergency Medicine to join our team at Broomfield on a full-time permanent basis.
The successful applicant will be expected to provide consultant advice and treatment to patients with emergency problems attending the Emergency Department. The post holders will share responsibility for the delivery of emergency medicine services with the other Emergency Medicine Consultants.
Main duties of the job
It is expected that the post-holder will actively contribute to the Trust's Acute Medicine services and support true multi-disciplinary working in line with the Royal College of Physicians and the Department of Health's strategy for modernising acute care within the NHS. You will either be an established Acute Medical Consultant looking for new challenges or a Specialist Trainee approaching CCT who is looking for your first consultant post.
