Mitchell Adam are happy to be recruiting for a Finance Manager role in the outskirts of Birmingham. This is a thriving global corporation with an annual turnover of over £100 million, looking to boost their existing finance team with a Finance Manager. If you are an experienced and confident candidate, looking to commit to a business, this will be the ideal opportunity for you.
Previous experience nurturing more junior members of staff to some scale would be beneficial here as you will be largely responsible for the current team. You will be expected to be independent and take initiative when completing tasks such as processing month end. Part of your duties will include exposure to budget forecasts, audit processes and compliance with financial procedures so prior experience performing these duties is desirable. The ideal candidate will also be an honest and outgoing employee willing to put the work in when needed.
This is a successful global business with offices all around the globe meaning liaising with key stakeholders will be an integral part of your duties. Your will work closely with the group Financial Controller who will be present to support you, but overall management of your team will be down to you.

1. Prior knowledge and experience working in the distribution industry is preferable but not essential.
