Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Commercial Lawyer to join the firm’s expanding Business Team (Commercial, Corporate & Employment) at their Maidenhead office. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years’ PQE and substantial experience in commercial law, either within a commercial law firm or in-house setting. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside the Head of Commercial, supporting a wide range of clients and helping to drive the growth of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advising businesses ranging from start-ups and SMEs to charities and UK subsidiaries of multinational corporations.
• Drafting commercial agreements and terms, bespoke licences, and advising on IP and IT matters.
• Providing guidance on data protection regulations and documentation.
• Offering corporate support and keeping abreast of emerging technologies, including AI and related legislative developments.
• Managing your own caseload and supporting senior team members across the wider firm.
• Collaborating with other departments, including Commercial Property, Employment, Charities, and Dispute Resolution.
• Actively engaging in business development, attending networking events, and generating new business leads.
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Minimum 4 years’ PQE in commercial law, ideally within a law firm or in-house environment.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Team player with the ability to foster effective client and colleague relationships.
• Demonstrable experience in client-facing roles and business development.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Hours of Work:
