Duration: Temporary ongoing (could be 12 months)

Hours: Monday to Friday - 37 hours a week, between the hours of 09:00 - 17:30 (17:00 finish on a Friday)
Location: Warwick/Hybrid
Salary: £17.59 to £19 per hour

What does the job entail?
On behalf of Warwickshire County Council, Pertemps Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Quality and Contract Monitoring Officer to join their team. Within their Contract Management and Quality Assurance team, they deal with hundreds of contracts which include ICT, School Transport, Waste Management/Recycling, and Recruitment Agencies. You will be ensuring services commissioned are safe, cost-effective, good quality, and lead to the desired outcome.
You will achieve this by:
1. Supporting the delivery of contract management and quality assurance activity in line with the contract management framework.
2. Working with contractors to increase quality through developing and monitoring improvement plans.
3. Supporting a specific project, for which experience in spend aggregation and data analysis would be advantageous.
4. Contacting external suppliers to find solutions to contract issues.
5. Investigating complaints or issues regarding quality or safety of service of suppliers.
6. Collating and reporting on information about commissioned services to enable monitoring for both contract management and quality assurance purposes.
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
1. Confident with both stakeholder management and engagement.
2. Experience of procurement for the Public Sector, especially within Local Authority.
3. Must be data-driven, able to take instruction, and then work on own initiative to support the overall project plan.
4. Educated to a minimum A-Level standard (core subjects) and a level 3 qualification in CIPS Lv.3 would be advantageous.
