The Role: As the Security & Counterparty Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the management, review, and execution of key contracts and agency applications. You will work to ensure the accuracy of business records, provide mentorship to business units, and maintain compliance with Company and Group policies. This role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders, leading projects, and offering expertise on security and counterparty matters to support the organisation’s operational and regulatory requirements. This is a 12-month contract, working fully remotely. What You’ll Be Doing: Running contracts and agency applications, ensuring they align with regulatory and company standards. Advising business units on Insurer Terms of Business, Client, and other placement-related agreements. Supporting the completion of Agency/Intermediary questionnaires and onboarding documentation. Capturing and analysing data from internal systems and external sources to supervise security and counterparties. Keeping up to date with regulatory and legal changes to ensure compliance. Maintaining accurate business records on Company systems. Acting as a point of contact for urgent issues and resolving them optimally. Reviewing and improving policies, procedures, and processes to support team objectives. Building positive relationships with internal teams and external partners. Representing the team at industry events to stay informed on trends and updates. Who We’re Looking For: We are looking for someone with: Experience in contract management within the insurance, financial services, or a regulated industry. An understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills to present information clearly. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Interpersonal skills to manage priorities and meet deadlines. A proactive approach to building relationships with stakeholders and partners. Familiarity with contract law or legal experience (preferred but not crucial). Qualifications: We value: Professional qualifications or certifications in law, compliance, or contract management. Academic backgrounds in law, business, or finance. Evidence of continued professional development in regulatory, legal, or contract management. Proficiency with tools and systems for data management and reporting.
