Reporting to the Works Manager and based at, Gelli-Hirion Industrial Estate, Unit B1 & B2, Pontypridd CF37 5SX, with occasional UK wide travel to other Company sites and elsewhere as required for the efficient discharge of job role.
The job holder is not required to manage other staff.
The job holder will normally work 37.5 hours a week however, the job holder will be required to work such hours as are necessary for the efficient discharge of the job role which on occasion may necessitate the job holder covering shifts at short notice where the business needs of the Company necessitate it, however, such a requirement will not unreasonably be made by the Company.
Summary of Position:
Setting up, operating, or tending Foiling equipment, setting up of hot stamping foil machine. Cutting materials into specific shapes or sizes. This may include anything from paper to fabric, metal, plastic, etc. primarily on the Heidelberg 106 flatbed Pro Matrix. The job of a Foiling operator is one that requires attention to detail and an eye for quality.
The job holder must have the ability to assist a team of individuals, each a specialist in their own area.
In certain circumstances, training can be provided to an applicant who does not meet all the above requirements, but is able to demonstrate an aptitude for the role.
