Mobile Caretaker
Weston Super Mare – covering Somerset
£23,835
- £25,090 per year
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 16:30pm
We are looking for a Mobile Caretaker to join our Estate Services team based in Weston Super Mare. You will be covering a number of sites across Somerset. In this role you will be predominantly responsible for cleaning communal areas and removal of bulk items/fly tipping. The role will include both team and lone working and you will be provided with a van and tools to get jobs done.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering high quality services, demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and high levels of customer service. A full training plan will be provided for the candidate and they will also have access to develop new and existing skills.
The role of Mobile Caretaker will include:
- Cleaning sheltered schemes and general needs property communal areas to a high standard
- Removal of bulk rubbish/fly tipping
- Working with customers to identify faults, resolving issues and improving services
- Completing all documents and paperwork concerning tasks completed
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and continue to be suitable for required tasks
- Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations
Skills and experiences:
- Ideally experienced in a similar role of cleaning/caretaking within estate services
- BICS training preferred but not essential
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Practical experience in operating hand tools, and gardening machinery
- Good communication and customer care skills
- Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
