Due to continued success and expansion, Northern Irelands largest Digital Printer, Northside Graphics Limited is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to join our award-winning Sales Team. Job Type: Full Time, permanent (40 hrs per week) Location: Northside Graphics, Dargan Crescent Salary:Negotiable depending on experience Job Purpose As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities within a variety of local sectors and building a strong customer base. There will also be the opportunity to take existing dormant customers and re-engage with them. Previous experience within either the Print Industry or indeed a role within Marketing where you have procured print previously and have an understanding of the industry would be very beneficial to the role. In addition to hitting targets and working closely with Senior Management to development new sales strategies, you will be responsible for representing the image of the company, providing excellent customer service and identifying areas for business development. The main duties and responsibilities include: Arranging and attending client and customer meetings Sourcing new leads and customers through cold calling, emails or other means of business development Retaining existing clients and building on existing business Selling products and services and upselling customers if required Work to and achieve pre set sales targets Work closely with other departments which include pre press, design and production Recording and tracking sales, meetings and other data using Customer Relationship Management software Producing sales reports at regular intervals for management Attending business events or presentations within the sales area Staying on top of local sales, business and marketing trends to identify new opportunities for sales in the area Essential Criteria Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Previous experience within the Print Industry Ability and confidence to upsell customers and clients Proficiency with Microsoft office and sales software, particularly CRM (customer relationship management) systems Excellent customer service and client-care skills Ability to identify emerging markets and new sales opportunities Ability to analyse sales data and prepare sales reports Self-motivated and able to work independently Have at least 2 years experience working in previous sales role and can demonstrate past experiences A valid, clean driving licence is essential for travel to and from customer visits Skills: Good Communication Skills- Building good relationships is fundamental to the delivery of our services. Organisational Skills- The ability to manage your own workload and to work to team and project deadlines.
