Summary Responsible for greeting customers as they enter the restaurant. Takes and confirms reservations, and shows customers to their table. They may also support other staff members by assisting with bussing or serving duties, provides exceptional customer service with a pleasant demeanor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities ● Supports Bethany Blues’ mission, vision and values ● Greeting guest as they enter, and putting them on a waiting list as necessary. ● Providing guest with minus and answering any initial questions. ● Seating guest at tables or in waiting areas. ● Assigning guest to tables they prefer, whole keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers. ● Engaging with guest to ensure they’re happy with food and service. ● Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them. ● Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions. ● A knowledge of the menu and carryout. ● Helping out with other position in the restaurant as needed. ● Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude, ensure customer satisfaction. ● Provide efficient and friendly service to all customers
