Vision for Education are recruiting for an SEND Support Worker for a specialist college setting in Ulverston to start in November 2024. The pay will be £455 per week and will be on a full-time basis. About the role Vision for Education are recruiting for an SEN Support Worker for a SEND specialist setting in Ulverston. The role is full time (Monday to Friday - 35 hours per week) which will start in November 2024 depending on requirements and could result in a permanent contract from the setting following a qualifying period. The role will be working as an additional support in the classroom, working with students with moderate to complex SEND needs in small groups and 1:1 to support them with both life based skills, alongside a flexible curriculum in the core subjects (English and Maths). About the school The setting is one of the main local providers for students aged 16 with generic, moderate and complex learning needs. Each child has a care, health and education plan in place to support with their daily routine and activities planned at school which are differentiated to suit each child.
