Macgregor Black are partnering with a Growing Toy and Gifting company on the search for a Senior National Account Manager. This is a permanent/remote role.
As the Senior National Account Manager, you will take ownership of vital relationships with major retail partners, drive sales growth, and help shape the strategic direction for a portfolio of high-profile toy and gifting brands. Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and nurture relationships with major national retailers, ensuring product distribution, sales growth, and long-term partnership success.
* Develop and implement strategic plans for each key account to achieve and exceed sales targets, product distribution goals, and profitability.
* Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and promotional strategies to ensure the best outcomes for both the retailer and the company.
* Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, and product development to ensure seamless execution of product launches and promotions.
* Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity, using insights to shape future sales and marketing strategies.
What are we looking for?
* At least 5+ years of experience in national or key account management within the toy or gifting industries, with strong knowledge of UK retail dynamics.
* Proven experience managing large accounts with well-known UK retailers such as Tesco, Smyths, Argos, and Amazon.
* Strong ability to drive sales and negotiate effectively with key decision-makers.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective business strategies to achieve revenue growth.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business results.
* Proficiency in using data to monitor performance and make strategic decisions.
