Element have an exciting opportunity in Malvern for a Trainee Test Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. This position will enable you to become an accomplished engineer proficient in performing a wide range of Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tests covering an expansive range of products and applications. As a member of the EMC testing team, you would perform a vital role that can include such activities as; Performing EMC testing on a wide range of product types (training, supervision and mentoring will be provided as required) Developing an in-depth knowledge of a variety of EMC testing techniques and test specifications Supporting and engaging with customers throughout the testing process Being responsible for keeping accurate records of testing performed Preparing test reports using established templates To be successful in your application for this role you will require; A background and / or interest in electronics Experience of Commercial, Automotive and / or Military EMC Testing would be good, however a recent Graduate who has studied engineering would be suitable as would anyone who has worked within a manufacturing, production environment looking for change of career UK national for Security Clearance Role is 37.5 hours per week, working from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday with 8.30am to 3.45pm on a Friday.
