We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our team at our manufacturing headquarters in Dumfries, Scotland, reporting directly to the Accounts & Finance Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a prestigious manufacturing company. In this role, you will support our Accounts & Finance Manager and become an integral part of our established Finance Team. We encourage both trainees and experienced candidates to apply.
This is a Full-Time role, but flexibility around this to suit commitments can be discussed at the interview stage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation and processing of sales invoices
* Credit control
* Timesheet entry & hours analysis
* Process receipts and payments in a timely manner
* Assist in the preparation of monthly reports
* Process employee expense claims and reimbursement
* Establish and maintain client/supplier accounts
* Maintain and organise files
* Job costing reports
* Preparation of draft quotations
* Conduct filing and scanning tasks as required
* Assist with general administrative support
* Working closely with Engineers
* Covering Purchase Ledger/Reception annual leave
Person Specification:
* Good communication skills
* Excellent time management
* Methodical and organised
* Able to work to a high level of accuracy and with a keen eye for detail
* Able to manage and work to regular deadlines and timetables
