FABULOUS NANNY/HOUSEKEEPING POSITION with a completely lovely family who live near Godalming. The family are looking for a warm, loving, really sympathetic but also energetic Nanny to care for their two happy, bubbly children aged 5 and 8 (nearly 9) years-old. This role would be stepping into mum’s shoes whilst she has and recovers from a major operation. Therefore the position is full-time in the school holidays, until Dad gets home from work at the end of the day, and in term-time can be more flexible with housekeeping or split shifts if preferred.
Housekeeping is an important aspect for this role including taking the bins out, as this is something Mum won’t be able to do for weeks; the lovely long flow of laundry as well; dishwasher; putting away an Ocado shop etc. So a really helpful person who is not fazed by all the tasks that come with looking after a family and house is what this family are really looking for and needing.
The other most important need is a Nanny who can keep the children happy, comforted and busy! They love school (a 7 minute drive away) needing to be there at 8.15am and finishing at 3.20pm or after a club at 4pm. The children love playing and exploring outside, playing with their friends and creative activities. During the Easter holidays the children are priority. (Cleaning help is employed every Monday). So lots of time to enjoy the children and spend plenty of time outside with them; supporting their reading and school work; guiding them with activities and crafts. The family have a wonderful group of friends locally who are preparing to rally around the family at this time and provide meals so a good support network is available. Home is cosy and homely with a large garden with plenty of space to play.
