Supply SEND teacher We are looking for qualified teachers who are looking for truly flexible working. 4myschools are working with a group of SEND schools and Alternative Provvisions in Ipswich (and the surrounding areas) and, due to demand, we are looking to expand our cohort of supply teachers in the area. YOU DO NOT NEED to have a specialism in SEND yourself The important thing when teaching SEND is that you understand the value of inclusion and opportunity, and are someone who is able to see the children's strengths; offering encouragement and support. You have total control over the days your make available to us and the schools. Your availability for work can fluctuate in line with your other commitments. This can be from as little as 1 day a week to a full 5 days a week and anything in between The schools and alternative provisions you will be working with teach children from aged 4 through to 18. Many will have specialisms based on either age or need. They include: PMLD (Profound and multiple learning disability) MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) H.I (hearing imparement) V.I (Visual imparement) Within these settings you will support children with conditions such as (not an exhaustive list): ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) ADHD (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) SLCN (Speech, Language and Commincation Needs) Cerebral Palsy Downs Syndrome Learning Delay Complex Needs Medical Needs Behvaiours that Challenge Trauma Personal Care needs ECT applications are very welcome (DID YOU KNOW?
