Job Title: Maths Teacher Location: South Manchester Salary: £31,650 to £43,607 per annum ( Depending on experience) Start Date: January 2025 Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time GSL Education are working with a ‘Brilliant’ School in South Manchester to appoint a full-time Maths Teacher. The role is available to start from January 2025. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, creating an inclusive learning environment, and helping students develop their mathematical skills. Your enthusiasm for teaching will inspire students to excel, build confidence, and deepen their understanding of key mathematical concepts. Key Responsibilities as a Teacher of Maths : Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum. Differentiate teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of students. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to facilitate academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and departmental initiatives. Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students' enthusiasm for Mathematics. As the ideal Teacher of Maths, you should have : UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Minimum of 6 months UK Maths teaching experience or be an Early Career Teacher. A Degree in Maths or a related subject area. Ability to differentiate and scaffold lesson plans to suit the needs of all students. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered with the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
