We are seeking an Intranet Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. The position is offered on a 14 month contract basis to permanent.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our organization's SharePoint intranet, enhancing internal communication channels, and creating colleague engagement through effective content and resources. You will also lead the rebuild and reshaping of the current site, so you can really make your mark with your expertise!
This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure our intranet serves as a valuable tool for information sharing and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Management:
o Develop, curate, and maintain up-to-date content on the intranet, including news articles, announcements, and multimedia resources.
o Create engaging newsletters and updates to keep colleagues informed about company initiatives, events, and changes.
2. User Experience Optimization:
o Conduct user research and gather feedback to improve the intranet’s usability and navigation.
o Implement enhancements based on best practices and user feedback to promote a user-friendly experience.
What you need to succeed:
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience in internal communications, content management, or a related field (5-10 years preferred).
* Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus on clarity and engagement.
* Familiarity with intranet platforms (SharePoint is essential) and content management systems.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
* Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools to measure the effectiveness of communications.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
