HR Business Partner

Are you a strategic HR Business Partner with experience partnering highly successful Heads of Departments in complex business structures? Do you have experience operating in a professional services or corporate environment?
I am supporting a truly people-centric business that has created a fantastic culture and highly respected HR function. This role is reporting into the Head of HR Business Partnering and acting as the strategic business partner to two senior Heads of Departments. These stakeholders are truly invested in the value HR brings and will rely on this HR BP to support them in making key people decisions within their departments.
Due to the strategic nature of the role, I am looking for someone who has operated at a true strategic level previously in a complex/matrix organisation. You will be supported by functional specialists across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Talent, ER, Reward, HR Projects, and a HR Services team. It’s vital the successful candidate has operated in a similar centre of excellence model before and knows exactly how to collaborate and pull on the specialist skill sets when needed.
So, what’s the role?
* Acting as the strategic business partner to two senior stakeholders, providing a thorough and comprehensive HR service and advising them on key people decisions and challenges across their business areas.
* Challenge, influence, and support at a senior level.
* Liaise with the wider centre of excellence across the HR function to deliver a collaborative end-to-end HR service to your business areas.
* Line manage a HR Advisor who will deliver on the day-to-day operational activity.
* Drive the talent agenda, being proactive and deliberate in how the business defines talent through promotion and development pathways, considering financial hygiene, previous years’ performance, and challenging talent decisions.
* Deliver on complex operational activity, including complex or high-risk employee relations cases.
* Build localized people plans, identifying key changes, projects, and initiatives that need delivering in your business area to drive commercial performance and engagement.
