We are seeking an experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a 3-bed residential service for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) in Warrington. Your key duties will include: Leading and managing a team of dedicated care staff, ensuring the service provides a high standard of care for the young people in residence Ensuring that the home complies with Ofsted regulations, the Children’s Act, and Children’s Care Standards Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the individual needs of the young people Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the home, including managing rotas, staff performance, and budgets Building meaningful relationships with young people, promoting their emotional, social, and educational development Managing the home’s policies and procedures to ensure best practice in care delivery Collaborating with social workers, education professionals, and families to ensure positive outcomes for young people What we’re looking for: Experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential care setting, ideally with experience in an EBD environment Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) A thorough understanding of the needs and challenges faced by young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively A commitment to delivering high-quality care and achieving positive outcomes for young people Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal A full UK driving licence (preferable but not essential) Join us and make a difference: If you are a compassionate and driven professional with a passion for improving the lives of vulnerable young people, we would love to hear from you.
