Responsibilities: Report to a qualified Senior Financial Controller. Act as a Financial Controller/Finance Manager to a small portfolio of businesses. Produce month end accounts, including balance sheet and profit and loss. Oversight of cash flow. Assist with the preparation of year end accounts. Bookkeeping, sales ledger, purchase ledger, nominal ledger. Compile VAT returns and EC Sales Lists. Ad hoc supervision of junior staff. Requirements: Good academics Experience working in a progressive accountancy firm or outsourcing business, managing clients and working to deadlines. Proven ability to supervise staff and delegate workloads effectively. Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Customer service-driven mindset, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional client experiences. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for process improvement and contributing to company growth. Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools.
