Job Description
Please note we have both a Permanent and 12 month Maternity Cover available. We are currently recruiting for two Team Leaders to join our Payroll and Reward team in Glasgow. Both roles will be responsible for leading a team of subject matter experts within Reward Delivery or Payroll, ensuring that business and regulatory requirements are met. The team strive to deliver service excellence and a first-class candidate or colleague experience, whilst also ensuring appropriate capacity, expertise, knowledge and skills are in place to meet these expectations.
Your role will involve:
* Developing a high performing team that can deliver the best outcomes for Heathrow
* Acting as a delivery manager, driving performance against defined milestones and KPIs
* Taking accountability for the service standards of the team, performance managing delivery to ensure satisfactory quality and positive stakeholder experience
* Owning the relationship with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
* Ensuring that systems and processes enable the effective delivery of the scope and quality of service, leading and embedding change as required
* Delivering continuous process improvement and the use of further system automation
These Skills Are Essential:
* CIPP Qualification, or equivalent experience running payroll end to end or delivery of cyclical reward activity
* Effective influencing and stakeholder management skills, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with stakeholders at all levels (both written and verbally)
* Working knowledge of HMRC requirements
* Demonstrable experience using Excel (i.e. V-Look Ups, IF statements, pivot tables)
* Strong resilience, with the operational capability to deliver a great service gained working in a similarly demanding role
* Experience leading a team

Working location:
Your contractual place of work will be the Heathrow Business Services Centre in Glasgow so you'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to work. We also have some hybrid roles with a working approach which offers the opportunity for colleagues to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process.
