Protocol are working closely with a Further Education college based in Romford to help recruit for an Electrical Installation lecturer on a Long term temporary basis .
The role;
1. Full time hours – 35 hours per week.
2. Long term temporary contract.
3. You will be responsible for training, assessing and lecturing for a caseload of candidates and be involved in the quality assurance of programmes.
4. To train, support and assess students on workplace programmes to deliver high quality outcomes, this will include some in-house delivery.
5. Liaise with candidates and workplace supervisors to ensure convenient visit arrangements, either in College or on employers’ premises, as applicable.
6. Administer tests in college or on employers’ premises as appropriate.
7. Use IT to support the student in a flexible learning environment and to support efficient working practices.
8. Induct and support candidates in achieving their qualifications/apprenticeships, in line with awarding body/sector skills assessment practices, within agreed timescales.
Have you got what it takes?
9. Hold a vocational qualification minimum level 3 in electrical installation
10. Hold an Assessor Award (D32/33 or A1 or TAQA)
11. DBS on the update service
12. Hold a teaching or training qualification, level 5
