TheChief Data Office (CDO) is a Mars Wrigley program that leveragesdata and insights to address key business challenges, drivingquality growth and operational excellence.
CDOenables connected insights across the Mars Snacking ecosystem,equipping associates with the right data, tools, and capabilitiesto make informed decisions that maximize value and createmeaningful impact for consumers, customers, and thebusiness.
This role will be instrumental indriving AI and data science initiatives within Mars Snacking,focusing on demand and supply chain analytics. The positionrequires strong leadership in managing AI teams, developingscalable and high-quality AI solutions, and collaborating withbusiness stakeholders to align analytics strategies with companyobjectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience inAI, machine learning, and advanced analytics, with a strongunderstanding of product management principles. They will ensurecompliance with governance policies while fostering innovation inAI-driven decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to workin a dynamic environment, leveraging cutting-edge technologies todrive businessimpact.
What are welooking for?
* 7+years of experience in a quantitative role, preferably in the CPGor retail industry.
* 4+ yearsof experience leading teams of data scientists, product analysts,or data analysts.
* Provenability to deliver AI/Data Science solutions in fast-paced, agileenvironments using scalable, reusable code andmodels.
* Strong collaborationwith business leaders to identify challenges and translate theminto actionable, data-drivensolutions.
* Adaptability,problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset to thrive in dynamicenvironments and build high-performingteams.
* Deep expertise indemand and supply chain KPIs and analytical solutions within theCPG/Retailindustry.
* Understanding ofproduct management principles, including product definition,roadmap development, andcommercialization.
* Customer-centricapproach to drive value creation, adoption, and usage within aninternal stakeholderbase.
* Strategic thinking,problem-solving, and innovation to anticipate and navigatechallenges.
* Compliance withanalytics standards, tailoring methodologies for ML, AI, anddescriptiveanalytics.
* Ability totranslate business needs into analytical frameworks with strongcommunicationskills.
* Hands-on experiencein advanced analytics and ML techniques, including NLP andtime-series analysis, with a willingness to coach datascientists.
* Workingknowledge of ML Ops and DevOpsframeworks.
* Familiarity withMicrosoft Azure tech stack, including Azure Data Factory, SynapseAnalytics, andDatabricks.

Data Governance &Compliance: Ensure AI solutions adhere to governancepolicies, ethical AI principles, and privacy regulations whileimplementing best practices.
AI &Data as a Product: Drive the development of scalable,secure, and high-quality AI models and data assets that addressbusiness challenges and enhance decisionintelligence.
Solution Ideation &Development: Lead a team of data scientists in creatingcutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions tailored to businessneeds, ensuring accuracy, scalability, andimpact.
