Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant for schools in the Trafford area. This is where you will play a key role in supporting children with a variety of learning needs in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Role :
Provide individual and small group support to students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning difficulties (MLD).
Assist in delivering tailored learning strategies to ensure that each child has the best opportunity to succeed.
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised learning interventions.
Help students with their emotional and social development, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Support students with both academic tasks and daily activities, including communication, social skills, and self-care routines.
Ensure that all students are engaged and motivated, promoting a love for learning and helping them to overcome any barriers to their education.
Requirements :
Experience working with children, ideally in a SEN or educational setting (experience with ASD, speech and language needs, or MLD is particularly beneficial).
A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with students with diverse needs.
Strong communication skills to liaise with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies.
A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
