The Role:
As part of the Category & In-Store Commercial Team, you’ll play a key role in translating category insights into action, developing best-in-class range, display, and distribution strategies, and fostering strong relationships with key grocery customers.
* Lead the category vision and strategy, influencing both internally and externally
* Develop and execute a point-of-purchase vision and plan for the category
* Drive distribution, range, and display targets, ensuring optimal shelf presence
* Work closely with customers to create joint category plans for brand and private label growth
* Use data and insights to shape category strategies and commercial decision-making
* Build strong customer partnerships and influence key stakeholders
* Stay ahead of market trends, shopper behaviour, and competitive insights
* Champion the in-store execution agenda by ensuring category principles are embedded at the point of purchase
You:
* 3-5 years’ experience in Category Management within FMCG
* Experience working with major grocery retailers
* Strong understanding of shopper, consumer, and customer dynamics across grocery, online, and convenience channels
* Excellent stakeholder management skills – able to engage and influence at all levels
* Passion for the retail environment, customer strategy, and category growth
* Ability to turn complex data into compelling, insight-driven stories
* A proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
